The senior leadership and investors wanted to break with the past and position the business for ambitious growth. Known as “the wood guys,” they transitioned to Seras: the UK’s sustainable fuel experts. In September 2023, Swiss Life Asset Managers and Schroders Greencoat acquired Equans’ UK district energy portfolio, backing its growth and decarbonisation. I led the rebrand through Discovery and Brand Strategy, working with Designhouse on naming and creative concepts — before an internal Head of Marketing took over for launch. The result: Bring Energy, a brand that captured both the scale of their ambitions and their role in the energy transition. This project was recognised with three Transform Awards, including Best Visual Identity and Best Naming Strategy.
